Backup (device change, restoration, data transfer)
This is a guide about backup (model change, restoration, data migration).
About events backups
Events you create in minical are saved in Apple Calendar. minical itself does not store any events.
Details: Where is my event data stored?
By connecting minical to an external calendar service, you can back up your event data to the cloud. Follow the steps below to link an external service.
- If you do not link an external calendar service, your event data is stored only in the Apple Calendar on your device.
- If you change an event’s color to something different from the calendar color in the edit screen, that color information is saved to iCloud. When switching devices, please transfer your data via iCloud.
How to transfer minical pro to another device
If you signed in with the same Apple Account, you can restore from the purchase history.
- Open the minical
app - Tap the Settings

About restoring deleted events and calendars
Events or calendars deleted in minical cannot be restored.
However, there are two situations in which you may be able to recover data:
If you have backups via an external service
- iCloud: If you accidentally deleted your calendars, bookmarks, or contacts from iCloud
- Google Calendar: Export your Google calendar
- Outlook: Back up your calendar
If recovery data is stored in the app
- Open the minical
app - Tap the Settings
at the top right of the screen - Tap "Restore Events"
- Tap "Restore" for the event you wish to restore
